Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full professional Russian cast are local McAllen children from Deborah Case Dance Academy. Deborah Case Dance Academy provides safe, sound training that protects the development of the student. Dancers train in Vaganova Russian technique to ensure performance success. They teach dancers physical, intellectual and emotional lifetime skills, and good health habits. Their dancers excel in life beyond the studio. Deborah is recognized by Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as a Woman of Distinction in Arts and Entertainment; and McAllen Chamber of Commerce’s Top 5 Business Award. Deborah received a Russian State Certificate of Vaganova Syllabus teacher training from Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Moscow, Russia. DCDA has a strong track record of placing dancers in dance industries top dance programs, university scholarships and professional dance companies.
