RBTL Auditorium Theatre
Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Rochester: the Auditorium Theatre, which started out as the Masonic Temple of Rochester when it was constructed in 1928. The building was home to the local Masons fraternal organization offices as well as the 2,464-seat Auditorium Theatre, which regularly featured touring productions, music concerts, and comedy revues. By the late 1980s, the building was converted into office space, meeting rooms, and banquet halls, in addition to the Theatre. The theater wing of what has been renamed Auditorium Center is now owned and operated by the Rochester Broadway Theater League. Auditorium Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment productions such as Broadway musicals, music concerts, dance performances, and children’s shows.
